Program Goals & Philosophy: 

• Sports Beyond basketball club is for players with a desire to improve their skills, compete, and have fun! Our goal is to help players improve both on and off the court.

• Sports Beyond is a development program that teaches players the fundamentals and concepts that will help them compete at high school varsity level. 

• Our focus throughout is on player and team development where we create a positive team environment for players and families to grow and support one another.

• Players will train weekly with their team to develop ball handling, passing, footwork, shooting, rebounding and defensive skills while learning team offense and defense concepts.

• We take players of all ages and skill levels, not a select AAU program that requires a high level of time commitment and financial cost, but we are more than a typical recreation league.

• We teach and play man–to-man defense primarily as we believe this helps develop players the most efficiently. Zone defenses will help the team win more games but we believe that teaching players how to play man defense is better for their development.

• More opportunities to practice throughout the season than recreation league at a more affordable cost than a typical select aau program.

• Opportunities for players to be more challenged as they improve their skills by competing on a tournament team.

• Emphasis on player improvement on and off the court! Our goal is to help players development positive values such as teamwork, work ethic, sportsmanship and character! We emphasize team over, individual and character above winning!

• Quality coaching and instruction to help players improve their skills.

• Players learn the fundamentals and skills needed to compete while learning basic offense and defense concepts that will help increase their basketball IQ.

• No tryouts needed! Players of all skill levels are accepted.
