Sports Beyond will host the 7th Annual West Sound Senior All-Star Basketball Event for the boys and girls teams from the Kitsap Peninsula. Games were played at Bremer Center on the Olympic College campus on March 25th, 2009. The teams will play two - 20 minute halves. There was a 3-point shooting contest, “hot-shot” shooting competition and a dunk exhibition.
High school coaches will nominate seniors from their 2008-09 basketball team. Each player will receive an all-star shirt. The money raised from the All-Star Event will be used to finance select basketball teams to play in local and national tournaments.
. Admission will be $5 for Adults and $3 for children, students with ASB cards and Senior citizens. Door prizes may included gift certificates to Outback, Los Cabos, Noah's Ark and more!!
